If you’ve been scrolling through Netflix lately, you’ve probably noticed The Great Indian Kapil Show is back with Season 4. Navjot Singh Sidhu, who returned to the show after taking a season break, now looks completely at home again, sharing the stage with Archana Puran Singh. The laughter just feels right. And while Sidhu is busy cracking jokes on screen, his off-screen life is even grander, if you think Navjot Singh Sidhu’s personality is big, wait till you see his Amritsar mansion.

A mansion that built over time

Sidhu’s home isn’t just a building; it’s a statement. Located in the fancy Holy City area of Amritsar, the property is massive, covering nearly 49,000 square feet, as per Asianet News. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop and stare.

Sidhu started the work back in 2014, but he didn’t move in until 2017. He has famously said that building this house was like playing a long Test match. He didn’t want a quick “T20” job. Every single pillar, arch, and fountain was planned out with care. He wanted it to be a “handcrafted” home that felt like a piece of art. Today, if you look at the market value, as per Asianet News the whole estate is worth Rs 25 crore.

Ancient trees and private wellness

Most celebrities have nice gardens, but Sidhu went a step further. His front lawn has olive and bougainvillea trees that are reportedly between 100 and 600 years old. He had these trees brought in from places like Bengaluru and Goa just to give the house a sense of history. It’s not every day you see trees that were around before your great-grandparents were born!

The house also feels like a private resort. There’s a huge, blue-tiled swimming pool and a fully loaded gym where he still works out like a pro athlete. He even has a private spa area. It’s the perfect place for him to escape the noise of politics and television.

Rare Shiva Lingam

If you follow Sidhu, you know he is a deeply religious man. That’s why the heart of his mansion is a peaceful temple room. The most talked-about thing there is a rare Shiva Lingam that was apparently brought in from Singapore. It’s said to be worth a massive Rs 2.5 crore on its own.

The house also has quiet spots for the Guru Granth Sahib and other deities. For him, these prayer rooms aren’t just for show, they are the most important part of his daily routine. He often posts videos of himself meditating or doing pooja.

A career of highs and lows

Sidhu’s journey is full of ups and downs. He started as a cricketer who couldn’t score much, then reinvented himself into “Sixer Sidhu.” After cricket, he became a commentator, then a TV judge, and eventually a powerful politician. He has seen the highest of highs and some very tough lows, including his recent time away from the public eye.

His return to Netflix is reportedly coming with a huge paycheck. As per Siasat.com, he’s making around Rs 40 lakh per episode this season. When you add that to his other assets, like his luxury Land Cruisers and his showrooms in Patiala, his total net worth is estimated to be well over Rs 45 crore.

Despite the grand house and the expensive cars, Sidhu is a family man at heart. His wife, Navjot Kaur, has been his rock through everything. She was a medical student when they met, and he’s often joked about how long it took him to win her over. They live in the mansion with their kids, Rabia and Karan, keeping the house full of life and Punjabi traditions.
