Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has collected an impressive number of properties over the course of his long career in the film industry as well as during his stint in politics. His real estate portfolio is expansive and stretches across countries with several properties in India and abroad.
This financial prosperity matches the massive success of his latest release, Border 2, which hit theaters on January 23, 2026. The war drama has already crossed the Rs 70 crore mark in its first two days and is on track to join the Rs 100 crore club by the end of its opening weekend.
According to Housivity, the actor’s real estate portfolio is worth a staggering Rs 150 crore and goes beyond owning just residential properties. He shares several of them with his brother Bobby Deol and when his father was alive, Dharmendra too.
These properties show a clear balance between his work life in the city and his love for the countryside. This mix of assets helps bring in business income through his studios while giving the family some private space away from the cameras. He has managed to keep these properties despite some financial hurdles that made news in the past.
Residences in Mumbai
One of the most impressive parts of his portfolio is a mansion in the Malabar Hill area of Mumbai. Housivity reports that this property is one of the most expensive homes in the city, with an estimated price between Rs 60 crore and Rs 80 crore. The house is very large and features over 50 rooms to accommodate the entire Deol family. It also has high-end facilities like a private movie theater, a personal gym, and even a helipad on the grounds. This property is located in an area known for its exclusive views and wealthy residents.
Along with the Malabar Hill home, he has another prominent property in Juhu known as Sunny Villa. This five-storey bungalow cost the actor around Rs 60 crore and is famous for its lush gardens; serving as a residence as well as a commercial space.
Notably, it houses the Sunny Super Sound building in Juhu, which ET Now identifies as a major business asset. This facility includes a dubbing studio and a preview theater that are used by many people in the film business. The Times of India has also noted his ownership of several flats in suburbs like Oshiwara, which add more value to his city-based investments.
Farmhouses and international land
Sunny Deol also owns several properties outside of Mumbai for peace and quiet. Housivity mentions that his farmhouse in Lonavala is a major part of his collection, sitting on a 100-acre estate. This property is worth about Rs 8 crore and features a heated outdoor pool. The family uses this land for farming and wellness, and it is a place where Dharmendra spends a lot of his time away from the city. The size of the estate allows them to maintain a private lifestyle away from the urban crowds.
He also has a vacation villa in Manali, Himachal Pradesh with a worth between Rs 2 crore and Rs 8 crore according to Housivity. This house provides a quiet escape in the mountains and is built to fit in with the local style of the area. Outside of India, he owns a grand mansion in the United Kingdom that has been used for film shoots in the past. According to his 2019 election filings and Housivity, this London property is another key piece of his wealth and ultimately rounds out his diverse real estate portfolio.
