The story of how they got the house is quite famous because it involved buying multiple properties to create one giant living space. Archana mentioned in a vlog on her Youtube channel that she had to convince Parmeet to buy the houses next door to satisfy her need for a larger area.
Parmeet originally joked about getting a divorce due to the increasingly high cost, but they eventually secured the land which has since become their main residence. This decision to combine separate houses into one has resulted in a sprawling home that is quite rare for Mumbai real estate.
The purchase of the property
The couple originally planned for this house to be a weekend getaway rather than a full-time home. However, as the city became more crowded, they found the peace of Madh Island much more appealing.
Reports from ET Now suggest that the property has grown in value significantly over the last decade, partly because they kept adding more land to the original plot. Today, it is one of the most expensive celebrity residences in that specific part of Mumbai, far away from the usual Bollywood hubs.
The purchase process was done in stages, which allowed the couple to design the home exactly how they wanted it. According to details shared on Archana’s social media and reported by The Times of India, the house is meant to be a place where the whole family can stay together.
This includes their two sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, and Archana’s mother. By joining multiple bungalows together, they created enough room for everyone to have their own private space while still sharing large common areas for family gatherings.

The interior of the house follows a Spanish-style theme that the couple has maintained for years. According to GQ India, the bungalow is painted almost entirely white. A running theme of white pervades the property with white walls, pale furniture, and light-coloured floors making up the home.
This choice makes the massive rooms look even bigger and gives the whole place a resort-style feel. The house includes unique features like a Wall of Memories, filled with photos from their long careers in the entertainment industry.
The grounds are another major highlight of the Rs 70 crore property. As seen in Archana’s frequent YouTube vlogs, the house has a massive lawn and a private kitchen garden. The couple uses this space to grow their own vegetables like tomatoes and brinjals, which they often talk about on social media.
