After months of restless speculation and cryptic hints, BTS have finally dropped the announcement ARMYs around the world were waiting for. Well, you know it the massive world tour lined up with their long-awaited full-group comeback album. The scale is global, the hype is nuclear, and in India, the question is louder than ever, are we finally on the list?

The comeback era is officially back

BTS will release an untitled comeback album on March 20, making their first full-group release since 2022, when the band paused group activities for mandatory military service. With RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook now all discharged, the septet is reuniting as seven and heading straight back to the stage.

79 shows, 34 regions, one global takeover

The tour routing, first revealed on Weverse, confirms 79 shows across 34 regions and five continents, with more cities still to be announced. Live Nation later followed up with venue confirmations. The tour opens with three nights at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, moves to Tokyo Dome, and then rolls through North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia, with several cities hosting multiple nights.

According to Live Nation, the tour is stacked with historic firsts. BTS will headline the largest K-pop concerts ever held in cities like El Paso and Foxborough, become only the second act to perform at Stanford Stadium, and make their first-ever tour stops in Madrid and Brussels. London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium also joins the list. Every show will feature a 360-degree in-the-round stage, putting fans at the centre of the performance

Is India included?

India is still missing from the official announcement. Speculation has increased after HYBE launched its Mumbai office in September 2025. Soon after, Jungkook’s solo exhibition arrived in Mumbai which was BTS’ first major official activation in India.

Then came the moment that sent Indian ARMY into overdrive, V (Kim Taehyung) greeting fans with a “Namaste” during a recent Weverse live and directly addressing Indian ARMY. While he stopped short of confirming tour dates, fans were keen to read between the lines.

Adding to the momentum, BTS have previously revealed that India was once part of their tour plans, which were ultimately scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic, proof that the idea has existed for years.

And the excitement was immediate. X and Weverse both experienced technical glitches shortly after the tour announcement, with Indian ARMYs among the most active online, flooding platforms with speculation, countdowns and hopeful demands for an India date.
