Actor Boman Irani took a hilarious dig at US President Donald Trump after he claimed that ‘talks are happening right now’ with the Iranians to end the West Asia conflict. Boman took to Instagram and posted a short video reacting to the news with a simple pun, joking that he is ready to help with the peace discussions along with Smriti Irani and Aruna Irani.

‘Come to Dadar instead’

Adding to the humour, Boman says he would rather not travel all the way to Washington for the meeting. Instead, he casually invites Trump and his team to Mumbai’s Dadar Parsi Colony, as if it’s just another friendly get-together. He suggests they sit down over simple, home-style Parsi food like dhansak and custard, turning a serious political discussion into something relaxed and familiar.

He wraps up the video with a cheeky line about bringing a gas cylinder to make things “smooth,” followed by a smile and a thumbs-up.

Reactions from celebrities and fans

The video drew quick reactions from people across the film industry. Actor Sameera Reddy called it “epic,” while Farhan Akhtar and Ricky Kej responded with laughter. Actor Suzanne Bernert also praised the humour.

Food writer Kunal Vijaykar joined in with a light comment, saying he would like to be part of the gathering, mainly for the food. Many others shared similar reactions, calling the video simple and funny.

Boman Irani’s upcoming projects

On the work front, Boman continues to stay active. He made his directorial debut with The Mehta Boys in 2025 and has appeared in films like Detective Sherdil and Tanvi the Great. He was also seen in The Raja Saab alongside Prabhas.

He has upcoming projects, including Raja Shivaji and Khosla Ka Ghosla 2. For now, though, it’s this short, humorous video that has caught people’s attention.
