Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, has landed in legal trouble after the Jammu and Kashmir Police booked him and seven others for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, the base camp of the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. Alcohol consumption is banned in the region, leading to the registration of an FIR against the group.

FIR Filed for Violating Religious Norms

According to an ANI report, the FIR was registered against eight individuals, including Orry, for violating the District Magistrate’s order and allegedly hurting religious sentiments.

A Times Now report revealed that one of the accused is Anastasila Arzamaskina, a Russian national who accompanied Orry to Katra. The FIR also names:

Police Investigation Underway

An official from the Reasi Police stated that a special investigation team has been formed under the supervision of SP Katra, Dy SP Katra, and SHO Katra. Notices will be sent to all accused, including Orry, asking them to join the probe.

SSP Reasi has issued a strict warning, emphasizing that violations of the law at religious sites, such as alcohol or drug consumption, will not be tolerated.

Who is Orry?

Orry is a well-known social media personality, recognized for his connections with Bollywood celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Khushi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ibrahim Ali Khan. He was also spotted at Anant Ambani’s grand wedding celebrations.

As the police investigation progresses, further action is expected against those involved.
