Dhurandhar box office collection day 46: Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has had a dream run at the Bollywood box office. With its exceptionally long theatrical run and Part 2 just round the corner, the Dhurandhar fever has shown no signs of slowing down. The Ranveer Singh-Akshaye Khanna starrer has already completed 46 days on the silver screen and is still performing better than many recent releases like Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos and Rahu Ketu. The recent feat for the film was its overall worldwide box office collection beating Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.
Dhurandhar has not just reigned over the hearts of Indians, but managed to capture a sea of international audience. This comes after facing cult-favourites like James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, Sydney Sweeney’s The Housemaid and Golden Globe winner Marty Supreme, starring Timothee Chalamet.
Dhurandhar collection day 46: Box office journey
Dhurandhar opened to a historic Rs 28 crore on December 5, according to Sacnilk. With no slowing down the much-hyped film, it entered the Rs 100 crore club on its debut weekend alone. With not much marketing efforts, Dhurandhar’s viral soundtrack and Akshaye Khanna‘s swaggy appearance did the rest of the job. Week one ended at Rs 207 crore, and it returned with an even bigger second weekend. The lowest collection in the second week was Rs 23 crore, with the highest touching nearly Rs 60 crore in one Sunday alone. Week two finished at Rs 453 crore.
Even when Dhurandhar finally dipped below Rs 20 crore, the weekends remained a double-digit showdown. After grossing Rs 172 crore in its third week in India, Dhurandhar was followed by another Rs 100 crore week. As the tally zoomed past the Rs 500 crore mark, the global box office collection helped the Aditya Dhar-directorial enter the Rs 1000 crore club. Standing alongside big players like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Dhurandhar became a mark in history.
Week five brought a significant slump with it as the collections bowed down at Rs 51 crore, but remained higher than several other Bollywood films’ lifetime gross, which were released in 2025. Overall, Dhurandhar has collected Rs 826 crore in India, beating Pushpa 2’s net collections of Rs 812 crore in India. However, it is still far behind in achieving its global acclaim.
