After setting the screens on fire with Pushpa series, Allu Arjun is ready to up the ante once again with an exciting new collaboration. The star has officially joined hands with blockbuster filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj for his next, tentatively titled AA23.

Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the much-awaited project was announced on the festive occasion of Bhogi, January 14. With two powerhouse names known for redefining mass cinema coming together, expectations among fans are very high.

Expectations soar after Pushpa’s success

This could make for another blockbuster pairing as evident by the success of two Pushpa films – Pushpa: The Rise (2021), and Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024), the films that collected Rs 350 crore worldwide and Rs 1871 crore worldwide respectively.

There is a lot of excitement around Allu Arjun’s mega-budget film with Atlee tentatively titled AA22 x A6. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film pairs Arjun opposite Deepika Padukone. The release date of the film isn’t out yet.

Meanwhile, Kanagaraj’s next project is set to go on floors this year with Anirudh Ravichander composing the film’s music.
