Comedian Nikki Glaser returns to the stage as host for the second year in a row. Glaser, who made history last year as the first woman to host the show solo, earned widespread praise for her sharp, “bold yet playful” monologue. Producers are betting on her ability to keep the room lively while delivering the biting wit that has become a Golden Globes staple.
Which film leads the nominations?
The film categories are dominated by Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘One Battle After Another,’ which leads the pack with nine nominations. The movie, which tells the story of a former revolutionary facing his past, is the most favourite for Best Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) and Best Director.

The newly minted podcast category features heavy hitters such as SmartLess, Call Her Daddy, and Armchair Expert, marking a new era for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s recognition of digital talent.
Honoring Icons: Golden Eve
In a departure from tradition, the two major honorary awards were presented during the Golden Eve special on January 8. Sarah Jessica Parker received the Carol Burnett Award for her legendary contributions to television, while Dame Helen Mirren was honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her decades of excellence in cinema.
