A car from actor Akshay Kumar’s security convoy was hit by an autorickshaw after another vehicle crashed into the three-wheeler from behind, injuring one person, police said, reported PTI. The accident occurred on Monday night near Mumbai’s Mukteshwar Road in Juhu. Further details regarding the incident are awaited.
‘My brother and another passenger were trapped,’ reveals brother of rickshaw driver who got injured
Mohammed Sameer, the brother of the injured autorickshaw driver, told ANI that the accident took place between 8 and 8.30 pm. He said his brother was driving the rickshaw when two cars, an Innova linked to actor Akshay Kumar and a Mercedes, were behind it. After the Mercedes rammed into the Innova, the Innova hit the autorickshaw, causing it to overturn.

He said his brother and another passenger were trapped under the rickshaw after the crash. The vehicle was completely damaged, and his brother’s condition is very serious. He appealed to the authorities to ensure his brother gets proper medical care and to provide compensation for the damaged rickshaw.
Videos surface
Videos from the accident site later surfaced online, showing local residents helping rescue teams pull an injured man out from the wreckage. The autorickshaw driver suffered serious injuries, his brother said.
According to PTI, the Juhu police registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the Mercedes driver. They said that further probe is underway.
