The promo taps into the viral craze surrounding comedian Sunil Grover’s recent impersonation of Aamir on The Great Indian Kapil Show. It seems Aamir decided that if you can’t beat the mimicry, you might as well join it.

The sketch begins with Vir Das – who is co-directing and starring in the film – sitting in an office with “Aamir Khan.” However, the person in the chair is actually Sunil Grover, dressed in Aamir’s signature style and perfectly nailing his intense, thoughtful mannerisms.
