In just a few hours, the 33rd installment of the Hanteo Music Awards will be live at KSPO Dome in Seoul. Set to be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, the major South Korean awards ceremony will leave music lovers stunned with the best lineup of live performances.
In addition to rolling out the red carpet for some of the most iconic artists from the K-pop industry, the show will also honour their stellar contributions to the music world this past year. The live show will be hosted by singers Lee Chan Won and GIRLS’ GENERATION’s (SNSD) Tiffany Young.
Four Grand Prizes or Daesangs will be handed out on the big night: Best Album, Best Song, Best Artist and Best Performance.
On top of that, beloved boy group PENTAGON’s highly anticipated reunion will not only bring fans’ years-long wait to an end, but also celebrate the hit-making act’s decade-long run in the industry by honouring the members with the “10th anniversary – influential artist” trophy.
Other categories this year will include the Main Prize (Bonsang), Rookie of the Year, Post Generation Award, Emerging Artist Award, Special Awards (in 7 categories), Artist of the Year Awards by Continent (in 6 continents), Domestic Popularity Award, Global Popularity Award, and Music Industry Category (Special Award).
Where to watch 2025 Hanteo Music Awards?
In South Korea, MBN will live broadcast the 33rd edition of HMAs on February 15, 2026. Meanwhile, TikTok Live will be streaming the event real-time for international viewers.
While K-media reports suggest that the red carpet event is set to kick off at 3:30 pm KST (12 pm IST), the main ceremony will begin at 6 pm KST (2:30 pm IST).
