UPTET results 2016: Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) results 2016 has been declared at the official website upbasiceduboard.gov.in by Uttar Pradesh education board.

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test was held on 2nd February at 1,128 centres.

UPTET results 2016: Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) results 2016 has been declared at the official website upbasiceduboard.gov.in by Uttar Pradesh education board. Candidates who have appeared for UPTET 2016 primary level and upper primary level (Uptet Junior) can download result now from its official website.

UPTET results 2016 can be checked name wise and roll number wise. Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test was held on 2nd February at 1,128 centres. Those who cleared this test have now become eligible to apply for TGT, PRT teachers posts.

Steps to check UPTET results 2016:

1.Visit the official website of UPTET upbasiceduboard.gov.in

2.Click on the link ‘UPTET 2016 Results’

3.Enter your application ID, Date of Birth and Code shown on screen

4.Click Submit button and results will be displayed on the screen

5.Check the result along with merit list and save it for further reference

UPTET 2016 exam eligibility certificate is valid for 3  years only. If candidates want to improve marks then candidates may apply for the exam anytime. There is no restrictions on number of attempts. The certificate will be awarded to only those candidates who qualify the exam and time period will be calculated from the date of result declaration

The annual UPTET qualifies candidates to teach primary (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (Classes 6 to 8) in any government school and in participating in privately operated schools in Uttar Pradesh.  Aspirants can attempt paper 1 to teach primary classes, paper 2 to teach upper primary classes or for both to be able to teach primary and upper primary.
