According to reports, the candidates who appeared for the UPTET exam back in the month of October 2017 can check their results at upbasiceduboard.gov.in today as the result link will be activated today itself. The answer keys for the UPTET exam that took place on October 15, were released on November 30. The Teachers Eligibility Test aspirants have been waiting for the results of the same ever since. Reportedly, a total of 9.76 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination that was held across 1634 exam centres in the State. The total number of candidates who registered for the test in the first place was a little over 10 Lakh, however many did not appear for the test.

Step 2: Now click on the link that says ‘UPTET Result 2017’
Step 3: The result window will open up on the screen
Step 4: Now enter your registration number and password
Step 5: Click on Submit
Step 6: Your result will be displayed on the computer screens
The examination was conducted in two parts – one for teachers of classes 1 to 5 another for those of class 6 and 8. UPTET 2017 examination comprised of objective type questions. While the application process for the exam had begun on August 25 and it closed on September 8, 2017. Contractual teachers employed in Uttar Pradesh also were eligible to appear for the UPTET to claim eligibility for the post of teachers in primary schools.
Meanwhile, the Exam Centre list for the board exams that are slated to take place in 2018 has been released by the Uttar Pradesh board at upmsp.edu.in for the students in the state. Is it to be noted that while the number of examinees has increased this year, the state board has decreased the exam centres have decreased from 133 to 128. According to a UP Board officials, stringent norms have been introduced for the students and therefore only those exam centres have been allocated that have facilities like big rooms, according to Indian Express. In order to bring total transparency, the UP board for the first thims, this year decided to do the allotment of exam centres completely online. A total of 34 new schools have been finalised.
