UPSC Civil Services IAS Mains Result 2016: The commission conducted the examination in two sessions between December 3 and December 9, 2016.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results for the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Mains results on its official website. The commission conducted the examination in two sessions between December 3 and December 9, 2016. While the morning session started at 9.30 am and ended at 12 in the noon, the afternoon session was conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. UPSC conducts this examination for the selection of candidates to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’).

- Click on the link ‘Written Result: Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2016’ available on the left hand side on the page
- Once you enter the result page, click on the PDF link to of the result
- Search your roll number on the PDF
- Download the result pdf file and save it for future reference

Further Selection Process (Personality Test):
All the candidates who successfully qualify the written examination will be called in for a personality test that will likely begin from March 20, 2017. This test will be conducted in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. Candidates who qualify for the personality test will have to produce their original documents as a proof of their educational qualifications, age, community, physical handicap along with other documents including attestation Form, TA Form and questionnaire at the time of the test.
