UPSC CDS Combined Defence Services exam 2016: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I) 2016 and has selected a total of 126 candidates out of the recruitment exam. Examination for the different posts was held in February this year. Results can be seen at commission’s website. Commission has also said that there are some common candidates in three lists, issued by it, for various reasons
The examination was held for 200 vacancies in India Military Academy, 45 for Indian Naval Academy and other 32 for Air Force Academy.
Every year UPSC conducts competition exams for different vacancies under the central government, in this process it also conducts prestigious Civil Service exam to choose diamonds for IAS, IPS, and IFS.
