Symbiosis Law School firms up ties with University College Cork

The collaboration will lead to the design of special curricula and advanced research in various fields.

University College Cork and Symbiosis Law School today formally marked their partnership to integrate their research and training efforts in the field of law, and also other business disciplines. The objective is to help both students and faculty gain wider exposure through various exchange programmes.

“This relationship adds value in terms of cross-border knowledge sharing and expertise building among faculty and students,” said Professor Shashikala Gurpur, Dean of Symbiosis Law School.

The collaboration will lead to the design of special curricula and advanced research in various fields such as IP Law, Information Technology, Corporate Governance, Environmental Law, comparative legal research and Human Rights.

“This collaboration will not only provide an excellent opportunity for students to significantly enhance their abilities but also give them the necessary tools to be successful global leaders tomorrow,” said Dr Christopher Shepard, International Coordinator & Vice Chair- India Strategy Group, University College Cork.
