SSC MTS Result 2017 date time: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the non-technical Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment exam results today at ssc.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website to check their results once it has been released by the commission. The SSC MTS 2017 exam was conducted in the months of September and October 2017. According to the Staff Selection Commission calendar on the official website, the results can be announced by SSC anytime today. Candidates are requested to be patient and keep their roll number or hall tickets ready to check their results.
The SSC MTS exam that was conducted in September and October 2017 was earlier slated to take place on April 20, May 14, May 28, June 5 and June 11. The dates were cancelled and rescheduled after it was found that the question paper and the answer keys were leaked and the same was circulating on social media. The Personnel Ministry in a release issued after the incident said that the SSC has taken a decision to cancel the Paper-I (afternoon shift) of the MTS (Non-Technical) Examination, 2016 held on April 30, 2017, because the said paper was found to be compromised.

The answer keys for the Multi Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) Re-examination, 2016 were issued by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in November 2017. According to reports, over 6 million candidates this year applied for the 8,300 Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) posts in the country under the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The examination is held to select junior staff in central government departments.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established on November 4, 1975. The organisation works with the Government of India and recruits staff for several posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. The Staff Selection Commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training and comprises of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations who are appointed on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Central Government from time to time. The Commission is provided such supporting staff as considered necessary by the Central Government.
