SSC MTS 2017 examination: The Staff Selection Commission has released the practice test set of Computer Based Examination for the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff recruitment examination 2016. The commission has announced that the re-examination of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff 2016 will be conducted between September 16 and October 26, 2017. Earlier, the commission had cancelled the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2016 (Paper 1). Reports suggest that more than 60 lakh candidates have applied for the posts. The commission has announced 8,300 Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) posts, as per Hindustan Times.
Here are the steps to take a practice test for SSC MTS 2016:
1. Go to the official website, ssc.nic.in
2. Now click on the link ‘Practice Test for Computer Based Examination for Multi-Tasking Staff(NT),2016’
3. Then click on the link for ‘Start the exam’
4. You will be redirected to the candidate login page
5. Now enter your roll number and date of birth
6. Click on submit to take the test
SSC had earlier said that decision was being taken to cancel the MTS Paper-I because it was found to be compromised. The commission said that re-examination would be conducted for only those candidates who appaered for Paper-I in the afternoon shift of the MTS (Non-Technical) Examination, 2016 held on April 30, 2017. The candidates who qualify in paper 1 will be allowed to appear for paper 2. In paper 2, the candidates will have to obtain a minimum cut off marks to be in the merit list.
Earlier, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the results of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier 1 examination, 2017 on October 31, 2017. Candidates who appeared for the exam can refer to the official website ssc.nic.in. After the links are activated on the website, candidates can check their results. The commission had conducted the Tier 1 examination from August 5 to August 23, 2017.
