SSC CGL 2016: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has postponed the Combined Graduate Level Tier -I exam as it is revamping the existing modality of conducting the exam, informed the commission in a notification released on its website ssc.nic.in.

SSC CGL 2016 was due to be held on 8th and 22nd May, 2016. Though, the SSC has not announced the exact date for the exam, the commission said that it will announce the dates shortly on its website.

SSC said, “This decision has been taken in the larger interest of the candidates appearing for this examination.”

There are a total of 3815 vacancies and SSC said that the number of vacancies may go up as as many major departments are yet to report their vacancy position for the said examination to the
Commission.

SSC has notified CGL Examination 2016 for 30 posts with different ministries and departments.
