Candidates who are 12th passed are eligible to apply for the vacancies. Interested candidates must note that the last date to apply online February 12, 2018. According to the job notification, the candidates must be active sportspersons and the achievements will be reckoned during the immediate 2 (two) years period i.e. on or after 01.04.2015.” Those candidates who will be hired by the Indian Railways in the category of Clerk-cum-Typist should acquire typing proficiency of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi within a period of four years from the date of appointment.
Railway recruitment 2018: Here are the details of the vacancies:-
Educational Qualification: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions. OR Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Age limit: The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 01.01.2018 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 02nd January 1993 and not later than 01st January, 2000. No age relaxation is permissible.
Application fee: The examination fee for all candidates is Rs 500. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes the fee Rs. 250.

Application as per the Annexure A, shall be submitted on A-4 size good quality paper. The Application can also be downloaded from the website of Railway Recruitment Cell, Hubli — rrchubli.in). The application should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting and signed (Not to be signed in capital letters).
