Ministry of Finance recruitment 2018: The Department of expenditure under Ministry of Finance, has invited application to fill up vacancies under the post of Canteen attendant. Candidates who are willing and interested to apply must note that they need to apply through the offline mode. As per the official notification, the last date to apply online is March 7, 2018. Candidates must send their applications properly sealed in an envelope to “The Under Secretary (Admn.), Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, Room No. 225-E, North Block, New Delhi-11001” through ordinary post/by hand.

1. Canteen Attendants
Number of vacancies: 08 posts.
Pay scale: Rs 18,000 to 56,900.
Educational Qualification: Candidates who have passed 10th standard can apply for the posts.
Here are the documents to be attached along with application form duly attested:-
1. 10th mark sheet and passing certificate.
2. SC/ST/OBC certificate.
3. Certificate/Diploma in hospitality management/Cooking/Catering (If available)
4. Copy of the employment exchange registration ID number.
5. NOC in original from their present employer in case of a government servant.

The Department of Expenditure is the nodal Department for overseeing the public financial management system in the Central Government and matters connected with State finances. The principal activities of the Department include pre-sanction appraisal of major schemes/projects (both Plan and non-Plan expenditure), handling bulk of the Central budgetary resources transferred to States, implementation of the recommendations of the Finance Commission and Central Pay Commission, overseeing the expenditure management in the Central Ministries/Departments through the interface with the Financial Advisors and the administration of the Financial Rules/Regulations/Orders, monitoring of Audit comments/observations, preparation of Central Government Accounts, managing the financial aspects of personnel management in the Central Government, assisting Central Ministries/Departments in controlling the costs and prices of public services, assisting organizational re-engineering through review of staffing patterns and O&M studies and reviewing systems and procedures to optimize outputs and outcomes of public expenditure.
