The age limit for candidates is 18 to 30 years with relaxation in the upper age limit relaxable by 05 (five) years for SC/ST and 03 (three) years for OBC candidates against reserved vacancies only.
How to apply for Skilled Work Assistant (SWA)
Visit the website cwc.nic.in and click on ‘Work-charged Recruitment System’. Fill the form and submit it online. After submission of online form, the candidates must take a printout of the submitted form, sign on all pages, affixed a passport size photograph (same photograph as used in online application) in the space provided. The candidates can keep the printout of the submitted form for future references.
How to check shortlisted candidates
The shortlisted candidates shall be called for skill test/ physical tests. No TA/ DA shall be given to the candidates. The list of the shortlisted candidates for skill test/ physical test will be displayed on the website cwc.nic.in.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an All-India examination which is administered and conducted in eight zones across the country.
