Arvind Kejriwal's government is all set to launch a two-day job fair. The fair will be held from February 15 at Tyagraj Stadium, New Delhi and will end on February 16, said Gopal Rai, Employement Minister.

The fair will be held from February 15 at Tyagraj Stadium, New Delhi and will end on February 16, said Gopal Rai, Employement Minister. An official statement said,”The two-day job fair will be organised from February 15 to February 16. In the fair, around 15,237 job offers will be available.” Last year, in November, a similar fair was held where 74 companies participated to fill 11,500 vacancies.
However, this year around 100 companies are expected to participate in the job fair. This is the third job fair organised by the Delhi government. Rai said that candidates who are interested need to enroll themselves in the government’s job fair to participate and select companies as per their educational qualification. The job fair will start at 11 am and will go on until 5 pm in the evening. That interested can visit the official website degs.org.in.

Meanwhile, the application process for recruitment in Indian Railways had started. Interested candidates can visit official website indianrailways.gov.in to apply. Over 60,000 jobs are up for grabs. The online application process started on February 10, 2018, and will end on March 12, 2018. The notification has been released for the post of Track Maintainer, Gateman, Pointsman, Helper in Electrical / Mechanical / Engineering / Signal & Telecommunication departments, Porters & others.
In order to apply for the posts on offer, candidates need to go through the detailed eligibility criteria laid down by the Railway Recruitment Board in order to take part in the recruitment process.
