NTA JEE Main 2019: Examination dates changed due to Lok Sabha Election 2019

The first paper will be objective based examination while the second exam will comprise of maths and aptitude section as objective while the drawing test will be subjective.

Paper 1 will be for BE/B.Tech and Paper 2 for B. Arch Planning.

JEE 2019: The National Testing Agency has rescheduled the dates for the Joint Entrance Examination because of the Lok Sabha Election 2019. The exam was supposed to be held from April 7 to April 20. However, the JEE 2019 exam dates have been rescheduled for April 7 (Paper 2 – B. Arch/ B. Planning) and Paper 1 (B.E/ B.Tech) will be held from April 8, 9, 10 and 12. Lok Sabha election 2019 is scheduled to be held in seven phases from April 11 to May 19.

The students who are appearing for JEE Mains can get their admit cards from April 20. The admit cards will be available on the official website- jeemain.nic.in.

The JEE Main exam will have two papers. Paper 1 will be for BE/B.Tech and Paper 2 for B. Arch Planning. The JEE exam will be an online test only, but the drawing test for the second paper will take place offline.

The duration of the examination will be 3 hours. The first exam will take place in two shifts. The first will be the morning shift which begins from 9:30 am and will go on till 12:30 pm. The second shift will be the afternoon shift from 2:30pm to 5:30pm. The second exam i.e. Paper 2 will be held in one shift.
