Central Railway has begun accepting applications for 21 posts from the sports quota, starting from today. Interested candidates will have to apply online through official website www.rrccr.com on or before February 20. Interested candidates will find detailed instruction on how to fill the application on the website itself. Here are all the details:-

Age limit

The minimum age of the interested candidates should be 18 and maximum 25 as on July 1, 2018. Those born between July 1, 1993 to July 1,200 must only apply. Applications will not be accepted of those born on or before June 30, 1993.

Eligibility criteria in sports quota

Level 5/4: Candidates must at least have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Level 3/2: Candidates must have passed class 12th (+2 stage) OR its Equivalent Examination OR have passed matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT. Please note that diploma in Engineering will not be considered as an alternative for higher qualification.

Selection process

All candidates will be called for trials. After the trial, only fit candidates will get chance for the next stage. Candidates not found fit enough, will not be considered for the next round.

Application Fees

For general and OBC category, application fees is Rs 500, while for SC/ST fees will be Rs 250.

After the candidate submits the online application, a registration number will be issued to each of them. They must preserve or note their Registration Number for later stages of recruitment process/correspondence with RRC.

They also need not send any application printout or certificates or copies to RRC CR by post. Their candidature will be considered only on the strength of the information given in the ONLINE application, which will be verified at a later date.
