Indian Navy recruitment: The Indian Navy has released notification for 554 vacancies in recruitment for Tradesman Mate, a Group C post. The last date of application is March 15, 2019 and the application must be made through the official website of Indian Navy.

Candidates applying for the post should have a class 10 qualifying certificate and along with that another one from Industrial Training Institute (ITI). All the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the computer-based exam, consisting of objective type questions.

The final selected candidates will be absorbed into administrative control of either Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam, Western Naval Command, Mumbai, and Southern Naval Command, Kochi.

However, the job is transferrable and one can be posted anywhere in India as per administrative requirements.

> Go to Indian Navy website – joinindiannavy.gov.in

> Select ‘Join Navy’ then select ‘Ways to join Navy’

> Under ‘Ways to join Navy’, there’s ‘Civilian’ category

> Click on ‘Trades Men’

> An external website will open up – Click on ‘New Registration’ if you are applying for Indian Navy the first time and keep the username and password safe

> Else, enter username password, if you have applied for it before

> Fill up the form with relevant details and submit

Indian Navy: Exam Fee:

The unreserved candidates will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 205, but for SC, ST, PwBOs, Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from paying any fees.
