Indian Navy recruitment 2018: In its latest job notification, Indian Navy has announced vacancies for the post of Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Executive/Technical Branch and Permanent Commission Officers at joinindiannavy.gov.in. Interested and eligible candidates must note that they can now apply online visiting the official website. Job aspirants must note that the last date to apply online is January 25, 2018.

Total number of vacancies:- 108
1. Technical Branch
Engineering Branch (General Service) – 27 Posts.
Electrical Branch (General Service) – 33 Posts.
2. Executive Branch
General Service/Hydrography – 40 posts
NA/C – 8 Posts
Educational Qualification for both the posts: Candidate who have completed graduation in engineering or in the final year of engineering course in any of the under Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Marine, Instrumentation, Production, AeronauticalControl Engg, Aero Space, Automobiles, Metallurgy, Mechatronics or Instrumentation & Control Electrical branch can apply. However, they must have secured 60% Marks in their degree.
Age Limit: Candidates must be born between 2 January 1994 and 1 July 1999.

IHQ of MoD reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off/ based on percentage of marks obtained in BE/B.Tech without assigning any reason. No communication will be entertained on this account. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates. Selected candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their e-mail or through SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).
SSB interview will be conducted in two Stages. Stage I test consisting of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test will be conducted on the first day of arrival at SSB. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group testing. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination.
