Top global brands such as Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Microsoft, Facebook, Texas Instruments and Nomura, besides FMCG giants ITC, Hindustan Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser visited the campus.

Prof S K Barai, Chairman, Career Development Center, IIT-Kgp, said that with top-notch brands offering internships, there are high chances of converting them to pre-placement offers (PPOs) and thus automatically enrolling such companies as recruiters for final placement.
