The Himachal Pradesh Police has issued notification for a number of posts. Applications have been invited for the posts of constables in a number of districts like Chamba, Bilaspur, Shimla, Kullu, Mandi, etc. Those interested may apply online from March 30 to April 30 on their official website, www.hpprisons.nic.in

As many as 1,063 posts are to be filled through recruitment procedure. As many as 720 posts are to be filled for Constables (Male), 213 for Constables (Women) and 130 for Constables (Driver). Those applying should at least be class XII passed . Selection of candidates will be done through Written Test, Personality Test and Medical Examination.

Last date of online application – April 30

Constable – 1063 positions

Male – 720 positions

Female – 213 positions

Driver – 130 positions

Pay Scale:

Those selected will get Rs.10300- Rs.34800 + Rs. 3200 GP

Educational Qualification:

Applicants must at lest be class XII passed.

Application Fee:

Those from General Category will have to pay application fee of Rs.140, while SC/ST/OBC/IRDP candidates will have to pay Rs. 35.
