Gurgaon-based Shri Ram Police Public School, Bhondsi that is run by the Shri Ram Group, in a sudden move has decided to close down without any prior notice to the parents of the students studying there. This has left parents worried about the future of their wards as no school will admit their wards at this point of the year. The school was set up jointly by the SRF Foundation and the Haryana Police Department for children of police personnel and the general public in 2011. This unanticipated move of the school has left parents angry and clueless. The only thing they have been told to do is look for alternatives themselves.

A parent whose ward has been studying in the school for the last three years, who does not want his name to be revealed as yet said, “They have told this at this point of the year when I cannot get any admission in Gurgaon for my son.” He further stated that the school management is refusing to listen and is adamant on its decision to close down the school. He added, “All parents, approximately 40 of them, are there in the campus at Shri Ram Police Public Schools, Bhondsi, Gurgaon at this moment pleading with the authorities.”
