‘Google boy’ Kautilya Pandit stuns Super 30’s Anand Kumar; says wants to be ‘astro scientist’

Child prodigy Kautilya Pandit who's also known as "Google boy" on Thursday interacted with mathematician Anand Kumar and other students of his school, Super30, reported The Indian Express.

Child prodigy Kautilya Pandit who’s also known as “Google boy” on Thursday interacted with mathematician Anand Kumar and other students of his school, Super30, reported The Indian Express. According to the report, Kumar was stunned on meeting Pandit as he spoke “freely”, quite unlike most children his age. Kautilya, who hails from Haryana, stunned the world with his knowledge on complex subjects such as Astronomy. The child prodigy is in class 5 and has extensive knowledge on everything that a normal adult can think of. From geography to mathematics, there is not a single subject that he doesn’t have knowledge of. He has all the knowledge about current affairs on his fingers and is great with statistics.

During the meeting, which was also attended by some of the high-achieving students of Super30, Kautilya talked of latest research on planet Mars and he even knew all about the studies that are being carried out currently on the subject. It seems that ‘Google boy’ Kautilya Pandit has had quite an eventful week as he also celebrated his ‘janma-tithi’ in Kashi according to the Hindu Calendar, two days ago. As of now, he is studying in Super30 educational program in Patna under Anand Kumar’s School, Ramanujan School of Mathematics.

Earlier this year he was in the news when he addressed CEOs of 165 companies in New Delhi. At an age where most children are still learning about space and getting to know the basics of astronomy, Kautilya is looking to chart a career that would make a strapping young man of 25 or so proud – he said that he wishes to become an astro scientist!
