Students applying to Delhi University for undergraduate admissions can now turn to its website for clearing any doubts regarding the process as the varsity is planning to make its ‘Open Days’ counselling sessions available digitally – queries of applicant students and their parents will be addressed here.
A lot of outstation students visit the campus prior to admissions for application and counselling purposes. Now that online application is possible these students can opt not to attend the ‘Open Days’ and still manage to get their doubts cleared. Rest can of course head to the university.
The proposed ‘e-Open Days’ will be made available 24X7 on the university website. There will be a 40-minute presentation which will include all that an aspirant needs to know about the admission process. Besides the presentation, the recordings of the sessions conducted here will also be made available online so aspirants can have a fair idea about the process.
The Open Days for the upcoming academic session will be held from May 21-30 at the varsity’s North Campus.
The varsity is also working on a set of Frequently-Asked Questions (FAQs) based on queries from students in previous years. The FAQs will be available on the website soon and students visiting the campus will also get the same in the form of handouts.
Admissions to over 54,000 seats in DU’s undergraduate courses will begin from May 28. The online registration process will be open from May 28 to June 15 while offline forms will be accepted at the registration centres from June 5 to June 15.
The first cut-off list will be announced on June 25.
