SSC Delhi Police Constable Result 2017: The result for Delhi Police Constable executive (male and female) online recruitment exam will be released on Friday by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The exam was conducted by the Delhi Police from 5-8 December, 2017. Candidates who have appeared for the exam must keep an eye on the SSC official website: ssc.nic.in. Answer keys for the exam conducted across 57 cities was released on December 21. A total of 1,44,814 candidates appeared in the examination out of the 1,55,435 candidates who were scheduled to take the exam, registering thereby an overall attendance of 93.17 per cent. There are total 4,722 posts of Constables to be filled, including 3151 Male Constable and 1571 Female Constable posts.

Delhi Police had released notification of one of the largest recruitment process to fill Constable posts in the Department in the year 2016. As the first part of the selection process, Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE & MT) were conducted by Delhi Police at various places in the country. Based on the PE & MT, total 1, 55, 435 candidates were shortlisted for the examination to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. SSC in a statement released that the exam was conducted under strict surveillance and seven cases of malpractices were observed.
