Common Admission Test (CAT) has been seeing a continuous decline in registrations. Could this be the reason for the deadline extension till September 25?
Common Admission Test (CAT 2015) registration date has been extended to five days, from September 20 to September 25.
This has happened for the second consecutive year, last year also the registration window was opened for an extra day following a technical glitch. However, no reason has been given this year.
The official website for CAT registration carried only a short notice stating, “Important: The form date is extended upto 25th Sept 2015. Candidates can register and make the payment till 25th Sept 2015.”
Even when no reason has been provided officially by the IIM institute for extending the deadline this year, continuous fall in registration number is said to be the likely reason.
