As a new capacity-enhancement initiative for the benefit of practicing managers, the city- based Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) is launching globally-recognised and internationally-accredited dual degree Executive MBA programme.

The distinctive feature of the programme is that participants need to attend classes only for 15 weeks (including 4 weeks in Ljubljana, Slovenia) spread over a period of 18 months, so that the work schedules of neither the individuals nor their sponsoring institutions are disturbed in any significant way, ASCI said in a statement today. As a new capacity-enhancement initiative for the benefit of practicing managers, the city- based Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) is launching globally-recognised and internationally-accredited dual degree Executive MBA programme.

The MBA programme, to be launched from October, includes a month-long study in Europe.

The focus of the course is on participants analysing in depth their organisation-specific challenges and opportunities and coming up with pragmatic strategies and practical solutions, it said.

“We, at ASCI, believe that progressive and proactive companies could leverage this programme as an enabling platform for enhancing the competencies and capacities of its human resources,” said Prof M Chandrasekhar, Director, Centre for Public Policy, Governance and Performance, at ASCI.

ASCI is an independent, autonomous and self-supporting public purpose institution. It was established in 1956 at the initiative of the Government and the corporate sector.
