AIPMT Result 2015: Supreme Court has reserved its verdict on petitions seeking cancellation of the AIPMT exam and demanding re-examination due to the alleged irregularities in the exam conducted on May 3. Supreme Court, who is likely to pronounce order on Monday, has asked CBSE not to declare the All India Pre-Medical Test results till then.

During the hearing, the bench comprising justices R K Agarwal and Amitabha Roy said, “The examination stands vitiated even if one student is being benefited illegally.”

While around 6 lakh anxious students are eagerly waiting for announcement of AIPMT result for the exam conducted on May 3, Solicitor General Ranjit Kumar, appearing for CBSE, has opposed the contentions seeking cancellation of the test for only ’44 students who have been found involved in taking benefits through unfair means’.

According to a report by The Indian Express, CBSE in an affidavit submitted to the apex court has stated that the police authorities can continue with the investigation process even after the declaration of AIPMT result and action can be taken accordingly even at a later stage since the deadline to finish admission procedure in medical colleges is of September 30.

While parents and students are demanding re-examination following the massive irregularities, CBSE has pointed out that re-examination would be very difficult as the board would require at least 120 days or 6 months for the arrangements. This delay would also have adverse effect on MBBS/BDS courses.

The Central Board of Secondary Education was suppose to declare the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) results on June 5.

CBSE AIPMT Exam Leak 2015: Here is what happened

* CBSE conducted AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) Exam 2015 on May 3, 2015 and there were reports
alleging paper leak, mass copying and several such instances of irregularities, especially in Haryana.

* On May 7, CBSE released a statement stating that there has been no leakage of the AIPMT question paper what so ever.

* The matter was dragged to the court. Supreme Court on May 18 issued notices to the centre government, Haryana government, CBSE and Medical Council of India demanding cancellation of AIPMT exam 2015 on the grounds of massive irregularities.

* On May 21, Supreme Court directed Haryana Police to identify the beneficiaries of paper leak and said that if the police would be able to identify those who received the benefits of irregularities, there may not be a need to hold exam afresh.

* Following the orders, Haryana Police has got hold of a few mobile phone numbers and recorded conversations, the audio clips were first procured by a coaching institute teacher in Kota. The conversation purportedly involve some aspirants and the alleged touts, and showed the manner in which deals were being struck for getting a rank in the examination.

* Later in May, Haryana Police said that as many as 72 telephone numbers were obtained on fake identity proofs.

* These phones were used to make 358 calls to different parts of the country. Bluetooth as well as WhatsApp were used to provide answer keys to the candidates. The police also already arrested a Rohtak resident for helping the gang involved in the case but has been unable to trace the mastermind behind the AIPMT exam leak case, Roop Singh Dangi. However, the police has arrested six of his accomplices.

* On June 3, Supreme Court asked the CBSE not to declare results of the All India Pre-Medical Test till June 10.

* On June 8, SC extended the stay on declaration of CBSE’s AIPMT result till June 12.

* One June 12, SC announced that it will deliver its verdict on AIPMT re-test on Monday i.e. June 15, 2015.

AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test) is an entrance exam, which is being conducted for the 15% merit positions in the medical/dental colleges of India.

Plz stop playing with us i calculated my marks and it was 475 which may give me a govt. medical collage seat.If SC announces for retest then i don't i have the patience n flow to set myself into the studies again.Man just think about it it has been 1 month since the test. What should you except from students scoring marks like me ? Always study no matter what happens. For ur kind information i am from odisha n in odisha there is less 50% seats for general students like me n then comes the biology part.Man this year's biology questions were really suprising as some of them were out of course. But still guys like me somehow managed to beat all odds and got a satisfying mark and when its was all going good this news came to light n everyone is raising there voice for the retest. So, all so called retestians n there parents thing that if the retest happens then there children may get goods marks enough to crack the exam. This particular idea is the dumbest idea i have ever seen in my life.I mean what you guys couldn't acheived in 1 year you think you could nail it in a week or month. This is utter bull. The retest will not depress the morality of genuine students but may also crush their dream of being a doctor.Jo students bol rahe retest hona chahiye plz yaar take this thing under consideration.Plz don't use this scandal as an excuse for your failures.Every time i see thesee news i get goosebumps for whats gonna happen next and its a hot news that there is a slight hint towards retest.Plz declare the results.I am really tired to climb the mountain again. NO HARD FEELINGS

It is true that conducting re-examination for more than 6.5 lakhs students is a difficult task for any organisation. CBSE is right in expressing their difficulty. The following could be a solution. Identify a cut off for each category as is done every year. Allow all students above this cut off to write the re-examination. Call it AIPMT ( advanced) & conduct the examination online. The number of candidates taking this examination will not be more than 25,000. The examination can be conducted in July & CBSE can announce the results within a week ( because it is online). Give fifty percentage weighting for AIPMT ( Main - the exam that is over) & fifty percentage for AIPMT ( advanced). All the cheaters will be out & the best candidates will be selected provided there is no cheating the second time.

Re-conducting of this exam is the only way to stop such cheating event in future.... its such a prestigious exam but in last 2-3 years the prestige CBSC has gone down as every years such cheating incidents are reporting and in todays internet and whatsApp era once the paper is leaked it is not restricted to limited area or no's but in no time it reaches to length & breadth of the country and reaches to large no of beneficiaries.... To send a very strict mage to all involved in this racket Supreme court should order re-exam.

What about the time? Money is not all about. CBSE says it will take atleast 120 working days i.e. six months. What will happen to the students ? They will take admission to some other courses or through some other examinations, even to private medical colleges. Real good students will not wait up to six months. Who knows what will happen then? So think of some other alternatives other than total re examination.

Be sure. AIPMT results will be on Monday. Because practically it is not possible to delay the process. So on monday Supreme court will reprimand CBSE for the future and ask to declare the result and Haryana Police to continue the probe.

The police can not arrest Dangi, who is a known person. How can we think the re exam if conducted can be cheating free. Are our police personnels and exam invigilators more intelligent than Dangi & Co. Definitely not. So after four months if the retest is done then we may see more cheating. Then what we shall do. Another retest. So instead of retest think some thing different like a screening test for the qualifiers, not for all.

cbse is right . all cheaters become afraid to join.re exam is not a good choice for those who performed well. Is sc can give guarantee to them . think . Good performer students are out of stress . But after hearing the news they are stressed and anxious. Most private medical colleges calculate this and they started admission counselling and told students to deposit original mark sheets on counselling day. they are fishing
