As per reports nearly 9 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Mains session 2 out of which nearly all of them successfully appeared for the April session, nearly 95%.

The NTA is under close scrutiny is facing significant criticism due to alleged errors in the JEE Mains 2025 question paper. Students have found nearly 9 faulst across physics, chemistry and mathematics paper.

The JEE Main cutoff for JEE Advanced was 93.23 for UR; 79.67 for OBC; 81.32 for EWS-ALL; 0.001 for UR-PWD, 60.09 for SC-ALL and 46.69 for ST-ALL. This was the highest JEE Main cutoff in the past five years.

In the JEE January session, 14 candidates scored a perfect 100 percentile. However, the final list will only be available after the NTA JEE Main session 2 result 2025.

The JEE Main 2025 session 2 result will be considered as the final JEE Main result. It will contain percentile for JEE Advanced 2025. The JEE Main All India Rank will be based on JEE Main 2025 session 1 and session 2 marks available after JEE Main 2025 session 2 scorecard is released on their official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release their JEE Main 2025 Session 2 answer key anytime soon on April 16. Candidates are advised to check the official website: jeemains.nta.nic.in for verified updates.

Candidates after they download their official answer key at jeemain.nta.nic.in can check the final scorecard for the JEE Advanced 2025 cut-off in a section at the bottom mentioned “Category wide cut-off NTA score for JEE (Advanced)”

Candidates only need their application number, date of birth to download the JEE Main scorecard 2025 from: jeemain.nta.nic.in. The result will be live soon for the examinations held in the April session 2025. The results are likely to be live on Thursday, April 17.

The JEE Main cut-off is likely to increase for the eligibility of JEE Advanced for general category candidates. Last year, as per Mohit Tyagi of Competishun, the general category JEE Mains cut-off increased by 90.7 to 92.19 this year. OBC cut-off is expected to be just above 75.

The JEE Mains Result 2025 will be released shortly. NTA on their official X handle commented on the allegations of error in the JEE Mains Answer Key. “Drawing conclusions based on the provisional answer keys is not desirable. NTA would like to advise and inform candidates that they should not be misled by reports that create unnecessary doubt and anxiety.”

The JEE Main final answer key ihas not been released yet. not out yet. Candidates can check the JEE Main final answer key at jeemain.nta.nic.in when released.

Students will have to keep their login credentials ready before checking the official JEE website for JEE Main 2025 session 2 results. The candidates will be able to view their results after entering their application number and password to access the scorecards. The results will include the marks that have been attained by the students in both BE and BTech papers.

If a student gives a correct response, he/she will get +4 marks, where ad an incorrect response will get a -1 marking. Unanswered questions will get no marks.

The National Testing Agency took to X and said that it has always followed a “transparent examination process”. It said that this process allows the students to view their recorded answers as soon as they release the provisional answer keys. The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional Answer Key with utmost seriousness.

Mohit Tyagi of Competishun has told The Indian Express that the JEE main cut-off will see a hike for general candidates who took the JEE Advanced exam. According to Tyagi, the cut-off for general category candidate might go up from 90.7 last year to 92.19 this year. For OBC-NCL, Tyagi told IE that he is expecting the cut-off to be at 77.67.

There will be no rechecking or revaluation of the JEE Main session 2 result 2025, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has made that very clear stating that no such requests will be accepted. The JEE Main session 2 result 2025 is expected to be released by April 17 at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Students can log on to the official websites namely –

nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in – to check their JEE Mains 2025 exam results, once NTA released them.

– First, students will need to open JEE’s official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in.

– Click on the link saying ‘JEE Mains Result 2025’ on the home page.

– Enter login credentials.

– Click on submit and results will appear on the screen.

– Check your results and download for future reference.

-Students can keep the hard copy of the results with them in case it is further needed.

The results will be prepared and announced based on the updated final answer key. Candidates will not be informed individually about whether their challenges were accepted or not. The answer key, once reviewed and finalised by the experts, will be considered final, according to the official notice.

The answer key will be revised if the challenges made by a student during the correction window, is found to be correct. The revised key will be applied in response for all the candidates accordingly.

The NTA released the provisional answer key for Session 2 Paper 1 on April 11, 2025. The window to raise objections was closed on April 13, 2025.

NTA conducted the JEE Main Session 2 Paper I on April 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 this year at over 500 centres across India and in 15 cities abroad. The Paper 2 exam was conducted by the NTA on April 9 this year.

Once the results are out for Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2025, students who took the exam, can check the results of Session 2 through the official website of NTA JEE which is jeemain.nta.nic.in. The results will be out by April 17.
