The B.Arch and B. Planning result was declared in February 2025. A total of 63,481 candidates registered for the exam, including 30,755 female candidates and 32,726 male candidates. Additionally, 215 candidates were under the PwBD category.

In the January 2025 session JEE Main 2025 exam, a total of 13,11,544 candidates registered for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) across different categories and genders. Among them, 4,43,622 were female candidates, with 1,67,790 from the General category, 45,627 from EWS, 42,704 from SC, 13,833 from ST, and 1,73,668 from OBC.

The JEE Main 2025 expected cut-off is expected to be higher this year. It is estimated to be 95+ for general category students and 50+ for ST category. It is higher for EWS, OBC-NCL and SC lying in the 60+ bracket.

The JEE Advances exam pattern 2025 is computer based. Conducted English and Hindi, candidates will be given 3 hours for each paper.

The Chemistry section of the JEE Mains 2025 Exam was rated “relatively easy” by the candidates and was the easiest among all three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the JEE Main 2025. The result will is expected today on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in

While you await the JEE Main Result 2025, NTA has published the provisional answer key for JEE Main Session 2 on April 10. Candidates could challenge the answer key till April 13 for any discrepancy along with supporting documents. JEE Advanced 2025 is tentatively scheduled for June 2025. Unlike JEE Mains, JEE Advanced is organised by one of the Indian Institute of Technology’s and not the NTA. It contains of two mandatory papers testing skills in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

For the candidates who wish to seek admission to NITs, IITs and other government funded institutes, they must stay updated for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) centralised counselling session.

The seat will be allocated based on the JEE Main All India Rank (AIR). category and availability.

Once students have downloaded the JEE Mains Official Scorecard that will release shortly, they need to verify all details carefully. Make sure your name, roll number, date of birth and category are mentioned correctly. In case of a discrepancy, report it to the NTA immediately for correction.

In the previous year, the JEE Main cut-off for qualifying for JEE Advanced reached its highest level in five years. The qualifying percentile for the General category stood at 93.23, while it was 79.67 for OBC, 81.32 for EWS, 60.09 for SC, 46.69 for ST, and 0.001 for General-PwD candidates.
