Masters’ Union, India’s business and technology institutions has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Government of Haryana to transition into a state private university. This aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to experiential learning, live projects, and industry-integrated academic credits, according to an official release.

As part of its expansion plans, Masters’ Union aims to build a 10-acre, LEED-certified campus in Gurugram, set within a 150-acre business district and surrounded by major corporates such as Nestlé, Maruti, Airtel, Honda, Mitsubishi and HCL, the release said.

The campus will blend academics with startup and corporate ecosystems, and include classrooms, accelerator spaces, maker and analytics labs, student housing, and cultural and sports facilities. Phase 1 is expected to become operational by 2027, while later phases will add advanced research and incubation infrastructure, subject to statutory approvals, as per the release.

Currently, Masters’ Union claims to have more than 1,000 students enrolled across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in management, technology, engineering, design, genetics and aerospace engineering. These programmes are supported by a faculty made up of seasoned CXOs and reputed academics from India and overseas.

“The Letter of Intent allows us to formally pursue university-level autonomy while staying true to our practitioner-first philosophy. Our focus remains on applied learning, where students build real products, solve live problems, and create tangible outcomes for industry and society,” Pratham Mittal, Founder, Masters’ Union, said.
