The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 Session 2 on its official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download their hall tickets by logging in to the candidate portal using their application number and password.
So far, the admit cards have been issued only for exams scheduled on April 2 and April 4. The NTA has clarified that admit cards for the remaining dates will be released in due course.
“Candidates scheduled to appear on 02 and 04 April 2026 are required to download their Admit Card of JEE (Main)–2026 Session-2 (April 2026) from the website, from 29 March 2026 and go through the instructions contained therein as well as in the information bulletin. Admit Cards for the candidates whose exams are scheduled on 05, 06, 07 and 08 April 2026 will be released in due course,” the official notice reads.
In its official notice, the NTA has advised candidates to ensure that the QR code and barcode are clearly visible on the admit card while downloading it.
Earlier, on March 23, the agency had released the city intimation slip, informing candidates about their allotted exam city.

The admit card will include key details such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, exam date and time, exam centre address, and important instructions for the exam day.
Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card to the exam centre. Along with it, they are required to bring a passport-sized photograph and a valid photo ID proof.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam schedule
As per the official schedule, Session 2 of JEE Main 2026 will be held in April. Paper 1 (BE/BTech) is expected to take place across multiple dates in the first and second week, followed by Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning).
The examination will be conducted in computer-based mode at centres across India and abroad, continuing the multi-shift format to accommodate a large number of candidates.
