JEE Main result 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a date for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 results through its official X (formerly Twitter) handle. According to the NTA, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result will now be declared by February 16,(Monday). Earlier, the result was expected to be announced by February 12.

Candidates who took the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam, held from January 21 to January 29, will be able to check and download their scorecards from the official websites – jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. To view the result, students must keep their login details, including application number and password, ready. The result will also show the All India Rank (AIR) and the list of toppers for this session.

Along with the results, NTA will release the final answer key. This will help students calculate their expected scores based on the JEE Main marking scheme. Over 13 lakh candidates appeared for the exam this year, competing for seats in engineering, architecture, and planning courses. Students can check the official website for updates on the final answer key, results, the April session application process, and details about top colleges.

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results 2026: How to check scorecard

First, go to the official JEE Main result website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

On the homepage, click on the link that says “View Score Card” or “View JEE Main 2026 Result.”

Next, enter your application number and password in the required fields.

Once you submit the details, your complete NTA JEE Main result will be displayed on the screen along with your scores.

Finally, download the result and take a printout for future use.

NTA follows a normalisation process to convert raw marks into a percentile score called the NTA score. This score ranges from 100 to 0 and ensures fairness for students who appeared in different shifts with different question papers.
