IIT Guwahati declared the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE examination results through its official website on Thursday afternoon. Candidate can now check their scores on gate2026.iitg.ac.in by using their enrolment ID/email and password.
The result page will include candidate’s marks, score, qualifying status and All India Rank, while the GATE score is reported out of 1000 and marks out of 100. The category-wise cut-off is also published along with the results.
The GATE scorecard remains valid for three years from the date of issue. It is part of the eligibility criterion for admission to many MTech, ME and PhD programmes. GATE scores are also used for recruitment by several PSUs. The exams were held across multiple sessions in February
Steps to check GATE 2026 result
The GATE results for 2026 has been released in a PDF format and includes the candidates’ scores, qualifying marks, and All India Rank. The GATE cut-off will also be published by the IIT Guwahati on its official website along with the results.

Qualified candidates can apply for postgraduate admissions through COAP and CCMT counselling processes after obtaining their results.
