Indian Railways introduces Holi Special Trains; details here

In a bid to decongest other trains and to provide comfortable journey to additional passengers during the festive season, Holi special trains have been announced by the Northern division of Indian Railways, which will ply on four routes.

Northern Railways introduces Holi special trains! In an attempt to decongest other trains and to provide a comfortable journey to additional passengers during the festive season, Holi special trains have been announced by the Northern division of Indian Railways. The trains will ply on four routes which are Ramnagar-Howrah-Ramnagar weekly special train, Gorakhpur-Mumbai-Gorakhpur weekly Jan Sadharan special train, Ranchi-Anand Vihar Terminal-Ranchi Weekly special train and Mumbai-Jammu Tawi-Mumbai AC superfast special train. Below are the details:

Ramnagar-Howrah-Ramnagar weekly special train

The train no. 05007, Ramnagar-Howrah weekly special train will depart on every Friday, dated 16.02.18, 23.02.2018, 02.03.2018 and 09.03.2018 at 06.15 PM from Ramnagar to arrive at Howrah at 07.10 AM.

For the return direction, train no. 05008, Howrah-Ramnagar weekly special train will depart on every Sunday dated 18.02.18, 25.02.2018, 04.03.2018 and 11.03.2018 at 08.35 AM from Howrah to arrive at Ramnagar at 04.45 PM the next day.

The train is comprised of o­ne AC 2 Tier coach, o­ne AC 3 Tier coach, six sleeper class coaches, six general class coaches and two disabled friendly cum luggage van coaches. On its way, the train will halt at stations including Kashipur, Bhojipura, Bareilly, Sitapur Cantt, Basti, Gorakhpur, Sonepur, Asansol, Durgapur and Bardhman stations among many others.

Gorakhpur-Mumbai-Gorakhpur weekly Jan Sadharan special train

The train no. 02597, Gorakhpur-Mumbai weekly Jan Sadharan special train every Saturday, dated 17.02.18, 24.02.2018, 03.03.2018 and 10.03.2018 at 08.25 AM from Gorakhpur to arrive at Mumbai at 12.15 PM, the next day.

While returning from Mumbai, train no. 02598, Mumbai-Gorakhpur weekly special train will depart o­n every Sunday, dated 18.02.18, 25.02.2018, 04.03.2018 and 11.03.2018 at 02.20 PM from Mumbai to arrive at Gorakhpur at 06.45 PM, the next day.

The train is comprised of sixteen general class coaches and two disabled friendly cum luggage van coaches. Some of the stations where the train will stop on its way are Basti, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Jhansi stations and many others.

Ranchi-Anand Vihar Terminal-Ranchi Weekly special train

The train no. 08617, Ranchi-Anand Vihar Terminal weekly special train will depart on every Saturday, dated 11.02.2018 to 10.03.2018 at 02.05 PM from Ranchi and will arrive the Anand Vihar Terminal at 01.55 PM, the next day.

On its way back, train no. 08618, Anand Vihar Terminal-Ranchi weekly special train will depart on every Sunday, dated 18.02.18 to 11.03.2018 from Anand Vihar at 10.50 PM to arrive Ranchi, the next day at at 10.30 PM.

The special train has o­ne AC 2 Tier coach, o­ne AC 3 Tier coach, seven sleeper class coaches and three general class coaches. On its way the train will halt at Chandrapura, Gaya, Mughalsarai, Allahabad, Kanpur Central, Aligarh stations and many others.

Mumbai-Jammu Tawi-Mumbai AC Superfast Special

The train no. 02071, Mumbai-Jammu Tawi AC Superfast Special train will depart on 02.03.2018 at 06.45 AM from Mumbai to arrive Jammu Tawi at 08.00 PM, the next day.

On returning, train no. 02072, Jammu Tawi-Mumbai AC Superfast Special train will depart o­n 04.03.2018 at 07.25 AM from Jammu Tawi to arrive Mumbai CST, the next day at 08.25 PM.

The train has thirteen AC 3 Tier coaches and enroute in both the directions the train will stop at Dadar, Nasik, Bhopal, Jhansi, Agra Cantt, Delhi Safdarjung, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt stations and others.
