The carrier has decided to slash its fares for passengers heading to select destinations during weekends. With fares starting as low as Rs 991, there is plenty of reasons for you to pick a destination and fly. You could either choose to be with your loved ones or just relax and bide your time in a totally different surrounding – the options are plenty. Besides lower air fares, the airline has also introduced a special offer for those holding HDFC bank debit and credit cards. Passengers using HDFC cards can avail 10 percent discount while booking their tickets, Go Air said on its website.
The lowest fare of Rs 991 is between Bagdogra and Guwahati. The second lowest fare is between Chennai and Kochi with Rs 1,120. For those planning to visit Bengaluru to Kochi, the ticket fare is priced at Rs 1,390. Pasengers planning to travel from Bengaluru to Pune will have to pay a ticket fare of Rs 1,851, it added. Those planning to fly to Hyderabad from Delhi are required to spend Rs 2,897 per ticket.

Other areas for which air fares have been reduced include Jammu-Delhi (Rs 2,999), Pune-Chennai (Rs 3,014), Ahmedabad-Delhi (Rs 3,080), Lucknow-Hyderabad (Rs 3,225), Leh-Delhi (Rs 3,300), Kolkata-Hyderabad (Rs 3,317) among others. In January, Air Asia India announced its decision to fly passengers to seven cities in the country at a slashed price. The carrier started its sale for promotional base fare from just Rs 99 upwards. “The promotional fares start from Rs 99 under the dynamic pricing to Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, New Delhi, Pune and Ranchi,” the airline had said in a statement in Bengaluru.
The airline had also decided to fly domestic passengers at Rs 1,499 base fare to 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC). The destinations included Bali, Bangkok, Auckland, Melbourne, Kuala Lampur, Sydney and Singapore. “Passengers can book from Monday up to January 21 and avail the offer to travel from January 15 to July 31,” it said.
The offer was available on all flights of the group network, including AirAsia India, AirAsia Berhad, Thai AirAsia, AirAsia X and Indonesia AirAsia X.
