1. The job
As an entrepreneur I get to transform my vision into reality and have the opportunity to innovate. What could be better than that? Again, as an entrepreneur, the buck ultimately stops with me for practically everything in the company. While it can be fun, the directions this can go in can get very amusing. When you make a profession out of your passion, the lines between work and fun are pleasantly blurred.
2. The weekdays
The day starts early at 4:30 am and the first thing I do is yoga for one hour. I am in office by 9:30 am. Weekdays are fairly structured. The day begins with setting out daily priorities. A lot of time is invested in meetings with internal teams to keep focus on key execution items and meetings with external people, including prospective partners and investors.
3. The weekend
Weekends are dedicated to family and conversations around all things possible. If I am not travelling, Sundays are iPad days – music, movies and books on my iPad. Coming to reading, I go for travel writers, specifically Michael Palin, Gavin Young and Bill Bryson. Nowadays, I am doing fun work things on weekends too with the HolidayIQ Community Meet-ups. Basically, I get to meet the most interesting reviewers from every city on HolidayIQ over specially curated events.
4. The toys
The iPad is my favourite.
5. The logos
Tommy Hilfiger, TODs and Apple are my three favourite brands.
