Xiaomi is one such brand that knows how to keep a promise, and with the quick Over The Air (OTA) update on the newly launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, it has done the same. Xiaomi has started to roll out the much talked about Face Unlock feature on its budget smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. With the MIUI 22.214.171.124 OTA update, Xiaomi has brought Face Unlock feature along with many other features on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. However, it should be noted that the OTA update is being rolled out in a phased manner.
Earlier, Xiaomi had promised that they will provide the OTA update with the Face Unlock sometime in the late March this year, however, with the release of the new update, they have fulfiled the promise and a lot earlier than expected. Along with the Face Unlock feature on Redmi Note 5 Pro, the OTA update brings many useful features which are expected to improve the stability. This is the first time such an advanced feature is being brought on a budget device. So far, only mid to high-end phones have this Face Unlock feature.
