Its availability on other e-commerce websites. The headset comes with a two-way zipper design and is made of Lightweight Lycra. It is compatible with smartphones with screen sizes that vary between 4.7 inch t0 5.7 inches. The multi-billion Chinese tech company also claims that the Lycra fabric it has used in the making of the VR headset is skin friendly and comfortable.
The dimensions of the headset are 201 x 107 x 91mm and it is 208 gms in weight. It comes without any straps.Unlike most VR headsets, Xiaomi doesn’t come with extra sensors like the Samsung Gear VR, which implies it aim of simply better the holding cardboard and lenses. The Mi VR Headset gives a very simple VR experience and has no other app that provides it with 3D movies or other gaming applications. The headset, however, is Google cardboard compatible and hence its users can access the huge library of videos or apps on Google Play. It has to be noted that the MI VR Play app is yet to be listed on the Google Play Store. Although the website has a QR code, on the scanning of which one can download the app.
