Chinese smartphone maker is all set to launch Xiaomi Mi Max smartphone and MIUI 8 OS on Thursday, June 30, in India. The smartphone is likely to priced under Rs 20,000 as it was launched in China in May at a price of RMB 1,499 (Rs 15,330 approx).
Xiaomi Mi Max is the new phablet by the smartphone maker which features 6.44-inch display and is ultra-slim, ( 7.5mm in thickness) and weighs 203 g.
Xiaomi Mi Max smartphone features 3GB RAM, 32 GB in-built storage expandable up to 128 GB, Qualcomm 650 hexa-core processor, 16 MP rear camera with PDAF and LED Flash, 5 MP front camera, fingerprint scanner and 4850 mAh non-removable battery.
Xiaomi Mi Max will be available in Gold, Silver and Dark Grey colour options. The 4G LTE Xiaomi Mi Max smartphones runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and supports dual-SIM connectivity besides Bluetooth, GLONASS, Wi-Fi and GPS/A-GPS as connectivity options.
Xiaomi has also listed a 4 GB variant of the Xiaomi Mi Max on its website which features 128 GB inbuilt storage.
While the new OS MIUI 8 features improved design, power saving mode, better Notes App, a new Notifications bar, multi-window management mode for apps, advance calculator and allows user to change filters with a tap, doodle on pictures, add stickers, and comes with advanced video-editing features.
