A partnership between Bragi and IBM is all set to provide the world with a revolutionary set of headphones, the “Hearables”, which are said to completely transform the way people communicate and collaborate in the workplace. Bragi seems to have made a smart move by bringing IBM Watson into the mix of things. Now Bragi would be able to use their latest headsets equipped with 21st-century technology, to perform every function; from receiving instructions to communicating with co-workers, which allows people to interact with each other and keep an eye on the operations of their teams.

Nikolaj Hviid, CEO, and founder of Bragi, in an interaction with the media, said that the tables are designed to transform the way workplaces function and would have a significant impact on the working processes of the businesses in the future. He further said that the Dash is equipped uniquely to realise the full potential of contextual audible computing. He expressed his happiness to being able to tap in IBM through the Watson IoT and benefit from the enormous experience in the global experience.

Harriet Green, Global Head of IBM Watson Internet of Things, hoped that Watson’s language translation capabilities and conversational interfaces would definitely challenge the visual user interfaces of the time. IBM is looking to find new hardware to fit in seamlessly with the investment of their software. He hopes that the users would use the devices and communicate with their homes and workplaces in a more natural conversational manner.
